Hauled my ass to the 7:30 AM CrossFit session yesterday. Left my sneakers in Siargao so worked out barefoot, which I prefer anyway.

WOD was 4 rounds of the following in 25 minutes:

Managed to finish only up to the first set of one-hand kettlebell swings of the fourth round. And, of course, I didn’t do handstand push-ups. On my knees on a box, hands on the floor.

But I did complete all four rounds of squats, for a grand total of 180 squats. That’s a lot of squats. I could feel my left knee protesting mid-way through the first round, and started to cheat because of the pain on the fourth round but Miggy caught me so I went back to squatting deep. Needless to say, my left knee is not too happy today and my legs feel like lead.

And thanks to the kettlebell swings, I can feel all the muscles in my back.

All is right again in the world. 🙂
