I was one of two who did four rounds (everyone else did two or three) of the following in 20 minutes:

  • 20 kettlebell push jerks (left) – I lifted only 8 kilos though.

  • 20 clap push-ups – Of course I did a modified one, which looks like this:

  • 20 kettlebell push jerks (right) – After 20 clap push-ups, it was a bitch having to do these push jerks. Good thing I did the first set with my left arm which is my weaker arm.

  • 20 box jumps – Was dreading these. Box jumping barefoot is not ideal. I’m still using the little box too but, if you clicked on the box jump link, I jump on and off the box till I get tired, then switch to jumping on then stepping down.

But I enjoyed today’s session if only for this, which came on as I needed the last surge of energy to finish my fourth set:
