If, yesterday, there were eight guys – and me, today, it seemed that all the guys stayed in to watch the NBA Finals. I almost had to go one-on-one with Coach Jordan. But one guy showed up at the last minute, and I cajoled another from Bootcamp to join us. So there were three of us. Phew.
Nobody wants to be the center of attention at CrossFit.
Part 1 – Power snatch. 3 reps, 10 sets, with 1.5 minutes for each set. Yeah, I still only snatched 40 lbs.
Part 2 – 2 rounds, 6 minutes each round:
- 800 m. run
- overhead squats, max rep
Right. If I average 8 minutes/kilometer, take a wild guess how long it will take me to run 800 meters? I took it even slower today. I wasn’t in the mood for overhead squats. Sure enough, there were only 10 seconds remaining on the clock after my first run, and five seconds after the second. My score was a resounding ZERO. Har.
