Remember this cartoon from Sesame Street?

Well, the following trailer documents what happens “if every kid did it”. Except that it wasn’t filmed in some big city. It was shot on Midway Island (yes, of the “Battle of Midway”), which is quite literally in the middle of nowhere, where there are more birds than humans (Midway’s human population: 60).

In spite of the island’s distance from the rest of the world, it is clearly not unaffected by our carelessness.
