Waiting for Krav Maga to start. That’s me, sitting on the floor. I am now working out barefoot again.

Krav Maga: We started off trying to fend off attacks from someone coming from anywhere around us. Then we were taught how to remove someone who cannot defend themselves from the scene of an attack. Very bodyguard-like. And cool as hell.

While my reactions are getting quicker, I still do not counter-attack instinctively. And I apologize too much. Every time I hit someone accidentally or too hard, I apologize and try to rub the pain out. And then, of course, I also laugh too much. I’m always finding something funny and am perpetually laughing. It’s a good thing the instructors are patient.

Tonight, I did a lot of work with Ed. Since he’s an instructor, I didn’t have to switch roles with him too much so, most of the time, he coached me on my attacks. I still suck but I’m learning. I also got to kick him in the groin since he had his groin guard on. (No, I didn’t kick him hard.)
