We had a really fun session today!

The Traveling Series. Three sets.
We had to go from point A to point B, back to point A, doing the following:
- Forward swings (16 kilos)
- Farmer’s walk – 2 kettlebells (16 kilos)
- Sideways swings (16 kilos)
- Clean and step (8 kilos) – Do a clean, take a step.
- Machine gun press – 2 kettlebells (6 kilos) – Which is really just a walking press.
- Snatch and step (6 kilos) – Do a snatch, take a step.
Here’s a video that demonstrates the forward walking swing and the sideways (or lateral) walking swing:

For the ab work: Six points. Two sets.
The six points being:
- Right side of the waist
- Outer right knee
- Inner right knee
- Inner left knee
- Outer left knee
- Left side of the waist
Lying on my back, knees bent, feet anchored to kettlebells, I had to touch my right elbow five times to each point, and then back again with my left elbow.
Afterwards, John wanted me to do the plank with him so we did two sets of one-minute planks. And then it was time for Krav Maga.
Krav Maga today was all about kicks. How to kick, how to counter a kick, how to counter the counter to the kick… Pretty cool stuff.
I love kicks! Probably because I kick better than I punch.
For our drill at the end, we had to punch and kick a bag, following specific instructions from Fred, and then go to the middle of the room where someone would try to kick us. We had to deflect it and neutralize the attacker.
Exhilarating session. But now I’m ready to pass out. Long day tomorrow. Good night!
(MY WHOLE BODY HURTS.)
