Paleo Fail. Again.

Paleo Fail. Again.

Predictably, my Paleo re-entry was a disaster.

Paleo Manila went on – as far as I’m concerned – an unannounced break during APEC week, which I was mentally and emotionally unprepared for. To be fair, they only went on break for two days. Out of five. Which is still four days in the week that I had to fend for myself. Failing at improvisation, I did what I do best. I binged.

Paleo Fail. My favorite find along Katipunan Avenue, so far. Lechon Kawali on a bed of Dry Sinigang Rice. Although the lechon kawali is good, the real star of this dish is the dry rice sinigang. I could totally eat it on its own. At The Study, Regis Center, Katipunan.

And then a doctor, more or less, told me that my lifestyle is the primary reason for the breakdown in my health.

No shit, Sherlock.

Except that, now, it seems that I’ve really overdone it and have reached the point of possibly causing permanent damage to myself. I did some research and what I found, thankfully, debunked the conventional wisdom that surrounds these things. (No meat? No fat?! No way!) Apparently, the path to wellness sounds a lot like the Paleo straight and narrow.

Sigh…

Let’s take it again from the top. This time, with feelings.

Oh, I finally did something yesterday.

I went boxing.

I can now feel every single muscle in my body. Including all the ones in my hands. Ouch.
