Indeed.

And I am finally sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Of course, I was sortakinda well already yesterday. I hadn’t coughed much the night before. (I still haven’t slept but that’s a different story.) All in all, I was feeling much better. So I went out – and smoked the whole night. Doh! I’m relieved to report though that my throat seems to be okay. (The cough is still there but it didn’t get worse).

Let’s just say that that was my last hurrah. (Yeah, right. Even I don’t believe me.)

ANYWAY, I’m getting back on the Paleo wagon today.

Although the scale says I’m still at 55 kilos, I don’t believe it. I feel and look much heavier and I’m not happy about that.

I’ve decided that I’m not going to be doing strict Paleo though, as I did lose too much weight before and I don’t want that to happen again. Following are my accepted cheats:

  • 70% dark chocolate
  • honey
  • soy sauce, fish sauce, vinegar or anything fermented
  • good quality bacon, sausages, etc., or anything salty or fatty or fried
  • alcohol

The Paleo diet is automatically suspended when:

  • traveling (including when at airports)
  • trying out a new restaurant
  • at any event with my foodie group (dubbed “Lamonation”)

I’m so excited to be doing this again! I’m not sure why. I’m pretty sure I’ll be regretting this as soon as the sugar withdrawal hits. But, for now, I’m deludedly happy and am drawing up a list for the maid re what I cannot eat and I’m posting it on the refrigerator door. (I’ve even included some of my cheats. If they’re not on the table, I won’t eat them, right?)

I’m finally getting back to exercising as well! I’m doing the “introduction to Plana FORMA” class later and will let you know how it goes.

I’m glad to be back on the not-very-straight and semi-narrow. 🙂
