Well

For the first time in more than a week, I finally feel well. I instinctively knew it as soon as I got up. I should have waited out my illness in Siargao because, in the end, I didn’t really need a doctor.

Well, because I was in the area, I did go to my HMO provider yesterday. I baffled a doctor of family medicine with my bizarre array of symptoms and he booked me to see several specialists, ordered a CBC (complete blood count) and prescribed some anti-bacterial lozenges and Tylenol. I took the CBC then left.

But I’m glad I’m in Cebu. So this is what a decent internet connection is like… Got some stuff for the house done. I had the Oxtail Pappardelle at Tavolata. Oh, and I think I may have found the best silvanas in the Philippines. And they’re not from Cebu.

P180 for a box. It’s being sold at a random food cart selling rice cakes at the food court of the new Robinson’s Mall at the Fuente Osmeña Circle. Will take photos of it later when I go back for my CBC results (- the HMO is at the mall), and another box. 🙂
