We probably missed the 11 AM Easter Mass at the Cathedral by a minute. By the time we got there, the doors were shut. We attended part of the 12:30 one instead at the capilla.

We had another fancy lunch at Clandestino and today was the day when most of our friends walked into town so we met up with a lot of them.

What started out as lunch for three…

… became four…

With Ivan from Hong Kong.

… then turned into six.

We had dessert at Valor…

… which was right in front of Carrefour Express, which turned out to be Peregrino Central.

We got to say hello again to Team Hungary.

And the nth Team Korea.

After lunch, we paid six euros so that we could finally see the inside of the Cathedral, which was nothing short of spectacular.

The free-admission area by the capilla was beautiful too.

That night, we hung around Barrio Humedo and Plaza Mayor again. We met up with Gen and Ivan again. And we bumped into Vincent, whom we last saw at Villafranca Montes De Oca.

We finally got to try the morcilla at La Bicha.

News flash: We decided to stay in Leon another night! (That really isn’t news, is it?)

We checked out of the previous albergue and checked into this hostel with a view of Plaza Santo Domingo.

We got a private room for three (63-65 euros per night, including breakfast), with shared bathrooms.

It’s got a kitchen and we are making chicken-pork adobo tonight!
