Okay, yes, I’ve been cheating.

Saturday (technically, Sunday morning): Had half a burger, bun included, and some quesadillas after a night of drinking. I could justify it by telling myself that I should have a cheat meal once a week. Preferably after a night of drinking so that I get all my bad carbs in one go. Which I think is a good rule to have, so I wasn’t feeling too bad about that.

Monday: This I already confessed in a previous post. I had a tub of cheese-flavored popcorn at the premiere of “Temptation Island”. I don’t know why I ate it. I didn’t even want it. It was free! (That’s why I ate it.) Needless to say, I drank my dinner but will not confess the alcohol as it is on the list of exemptions after all.

Tuesday: A cheesy beef burrito at Taco Bell. Well, there are so few Taco Bells in Manila and I’m hardly ever at Gateway Mall (- the Kylie concert was happening next door to it at the Araneta Coliseum) and I was hungry and needed instant gratification and the photo of the cheesy beef burrito was soooo enticing… I could have had another but I didn’t. Oh, and I had the filling of one of those Beard Papa cream puffs. Stuck to alcohol for the rest of the evening.

Wednesday: I don’t think I should confess the miswa in the almondigas because it’s really quite negligible, isn’t it? ISN’T IT???!

Kinda like spring rolls or dumpling wrappers, which are exceptions too, by the way, together with breading and other “negligible carbs”. But I did have pancit for dinner with my chicken kiev.

AAAAAARGH!!!

Second week was a resounding failure.
