Yeah, I only made it to CrossFit again today.

Well, yesterday, I had a lunch time appointment, and I was still thinking of making the 5:30 class when it started raining Persians and Pomeranians. And then my Facebook newsfeed reported of flash floods around Manila, so I continued to play Scrabble.

The warm-up slayed me again. Good grief. Don’t these things ever get easier???

WOD today was:

A. Similar to last Tuesday. Power cleans, 2 reps on every minute, for ten minutes. I upped my weights and had 55 pounds on the barbell. In the middle of the WOD, I added two more 2.5-pound plates but I took them off after doing the set because my form was giving.

B. Three rounds, for time, with a ten-minute cap. One bar only.

  • 5 deadlifts
  • 5 hang power cleans
  • 5 front squats
  • 5 jerks (- I think I did push presses instead. Oops!)

I went down 45 pounds because of the jerks. Weak shoulders, remember? I finished in 4:48.

That was a killer.
