I made it! I set my alarm for 6 AM and, of course, woke up at 5:30, which is what I always do. I always wake up before the alarm. I still lay in bed though and waited for the alarm to go off, before zooming out of the house. I was at CrossFit by 6:30. Doh! That’s okay. That’s what iPhones are for. I played Sudoku until people started trickling in.
Warmed up with the following:
- 15 good mornings
- 15 push-ups
- 300 m. row
WOD was called “Cindy’s Mistress”, which was supposed to be 25 minutes of 60 burpees to squat cleans, with Cindys every two minutes (5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, and 15 squats).
Of course, being the “puppies” that we are – I guess Karen prefers that term to “pussies” – Karen gave us 30 minutes to finish instead of 25, none ofus did Rx which was 65 lbs. for women and 95 for men, and instead of doing Cindys every two minutes, we did them every three.
I only lifted 45 lbs. and finished last with one minute left on the clock.
But my green band-assisted pull-ups are looking better!
