Warm-up:

  • 500 m. row – Am now at 2:24. Still four seconds short. Argh!
  • 20 good mornings
  • 20 squats
  • 10 push-ups
  • 5 burpees

Strength training: front squats. I started with 45 lbs. and ended up with 75. Did an additional three reps after I hit my max.

Metabolic conditioning was 6 min. AMRAPs of:

  • 15 jump squats
  • 15 burpees to fingers to toe (Fingers to toe is a very awkward jump where you jump, extending your legs forward, and try to touch your toes. Yeah, it wasn’t happening for me.)

Those six minutes couldn’t have ended soon enough. I was dead after the first set of jump squats. I think time ran out after five burpees out on my third set.

FYI, my whole body is in pain after yesterday’s brutal WOD that Karen gave me props for coming in today.
