Back to zero. I don’t even want to weigh myself. I had an awful lot of cake last week…
Anyway, I’m back in Manila and back at CrossFit. WOD was:
4 minute AMRAP:
- 5 hang squat clean (- I only added 5-lb. plates to the 25-lb. bar for a total of 35 lbs.)
- 5 burpees
– I did 4.5 reps.
3 minute rest
6 minute AMRAP
- 4 overhead squats (Ditched the weights and just used the 25-lb. bar.)
- 8 ring dips
– I did 5.5 reps.
3 minute rest
8 minute run
– I completed 5 laps (1 lap = 200 meters) with 30 seconds left on the clock, but I had had enough of running in a car park at midday at the height of summer.
Oh, I forgot to mention that I’ve had a nasty cough for about a week now. I have no doubt that it’s brought about by too many late nights with too many cigarettes and not enough sleep. My voice has been reduced to a croak. Got a bit of a cold on top of it so I was a bit of a mess at CrossFit today and took a bathroom break while I was supposed to be doing ring dips. I needed to blow my nose to breathe a little.
