Team WOD. Team of three with only one working on the floor at a given time.

  • 6 minutes AMRAPs wall balls

  • 1 minute rest
  • 6 minute AMRAPs burpees to box jump (jump over box)

Sounds simple, right?

Except that Jordan, once again, partnered me with the weakest people in the room. They were brother and sister and it was their first day in the box. He was nursing a torn ACL and she couldn’t finish the warm-up. Which was fine, except that it meant that I was the one watching the clock and keeping track of the scores at the same time.

Initially, we agreed to do 20 seconds each but, eventually, I stopped watching the clock and we just relieved each other when one got too tired. The sister threw in the towel after the walls balls and the poor thing had a visit from Mr. Pukey in the toilets, while her brother and I tagged each other for the burpees.

We ended up last with 138 wall balls and 69 burpees to box jumps. Ah, well…
