I was early at CrossFit today so I took photos of today’s Boot Camp. Here are some scenes from their partner WOD earlier today:

And then it was our turn. Here was our WOD:

Trust me, I was tempted to leave.
I only lifted 45 lbs. for both the overhead squats and the power snatches. I’m sure I could have taken on an ever-so-slightly heavier load for the overhead squats but I am uncomfortable holding big-ass bars over my head.
For the power snatches, I almost went lighter but Coach Jordan wouldn’t let me. He said if I could overhead squat 45 lbs., I should be able to power snatch the same weight or a heavier one.
When I was doing my second round of power snatches, Coach Jordan stayed near me and coached me on my form. When I started doing it right, true enough, the movement became easier.
I did tuck jumps instead of double unders. I really should learn how to do double unders already. I’m one of maybe less than a handful at our box who still cannot do them.
I only did three rounds.
