A. Slingshot – 20 CW, 20 CCW (16 kilos)
Exercises B to F are traveling exercises. We start at point A, cross the room to point B and then return to point A. Do three sets of exercises B to F.
B. Forward swings – 1 KB, use same hand going down length of room; switch to the other hand to return to starting. (16 kilos)
C. Forward hand-to-hand swings (16 kilos)
D. Clean, press, lunge – 1 KB, use same hand going down length of room; switch to the other hand to return to starting. (8 kilos)
E. Farmer’s walk, with 10 chin-ups before returning to starting. (16 kilos) – Since I cannot do chin-ups, I TRIED doing this instead:

F. Lizard or bear walk or burpees, with 10 chin-ups. – I did burpees and the same chin-ups as above. No, I can’t control the negative that slowly.
For abs, we had to do 3 sets of 10 of these:

No, I can’t get the roller that far.
Afterwards, I did more ab work till it was time for Krav Maga.
The lesson today was extra exciting. We had a Swedish guest instructor from Krav Maga Global. Training with him was tough. Before we were done warming up, we were all doubled-up in the room, out of breath and ready to crash. He wanted us to connect our blows – not very hard but enough to feel the pain of bone against bone when blocking an attack.
It was rougher, for sure, but still a lot of fun. I thought I split my lip twice. I’ve since taken stock of my injuries and, as far as I can tell, it’s just my arms and knees that are bruised.
I always come out of the kettlebell and Krav Maga sessions with a mad rush of adrenaline. I absolutely love it.
