A friend is hosting a birthday party tonight at some ancestral house that’s going to be laden with good food and flowing with good wine. ** What do I do?!** Since a cheat day is mandatory on the Paleo Challenge, do I cheat and stuff my face with the mango tarts that this place is known for? Or, since joining the Paleo Challenge is really about me and not winning some prize money, do I stick with the diet? Sigh…

I guess I have to TRY to stick with the diet. It’s a good thing Rosan will be there and, hopefully, we’ll be on the same page and won’t cave when faced with a plate of chorizo pasta.

PS – The high-tech Tanita scale at CrossFit MNL is a bit wonky. It keeps giving me different readings so I have to do a best-of-five kinda thing. Best time to weigh is first thing in the morning without any clothes on and, so far, I think I’m at 113 lbs. I’m getting myself a new scale next week.
