Detox Day 2

Detox Day 2

The pool at The Spa Chiang Mai.

Energy levels are better. I swam for an hour in the morning and, in the afternoon, did some exercises with the Reebok resistance tube but only managed one set of 20 reps of mostly arm exercises, although I also did squats and push-ups. Oh, and I did some sit-ups in the steam room. (Well, no one else was around and I got restless.)

It’s Nicolas’ turn to be a bit down. He feels tired and drained, has headaches and was a bit moody. But it’s a good thing we’re both not taking our mood swings out on each other and are being supportive so we’re pulling through together quite well.

The carrot juice today wasn’t so bad. I really don’t know how they can make carrot juice taste bad but it’s usually quite awful.

I’m really, really hungry right now. But that could be because we skipped the veggie broth again this evening. I’d rather put up with the hunger. Seriously, that broth tastes like it was culled from the drippings in the herbal steam room. Gross.
