Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. I haven’t had anything to eat today but peanut butter. And a double chori burger with extra cheese. Doh!

Well, I don’t know how anyone can walk past Bun On The Run and not have a chori burger. Or a porkloin sandwich. Or both. (No, I didn’t have the porkloin sandwich although I was thinking about it.) It’s not as if there’s a Bun On The Run on every street corner. And it’s not as if there was even a Bun On The Run since the 90s! (Thank you for bringing it back, Freddie and Karin!)

For those who don’t know what a chori burger is, it’s a chorizo burger. And then they melt this really yummy cheese on the grill that goes oh-so-nicely with it… I always order extra cheese.
But I’ve never tried their coleslaw till now. I always thought it would be that cheap ketchup-mayonnaise concoction that I find disgusting, so I’ve always told them to hold the coleslaw. Today, I forgot and, boy, was I so wrong all those times…
I knew I should have had the porkloin sandwich too.

Blurry iPhoto of the double chori burger with extra cheese. Sorry, I was hungry.
Bun On The Run is at Metro Walk in Ortigas, Pasig. Apparently, there are other branches in Salcedo Village in Makati and Trinoma in Quezon City but I have no firsthand experience of them.
